My background

I have just completed the first year of my master's in Mechatronics, Energy and Intelligent Systems at the University of Strasbourg, and I am moving into the second year. I learn the engineer's craft by building real projects, from collaborative robotics to embedded systems.

From design to realisation

I cover the full life cycle of a technical project. Requirements analysis, mechanical design in Autodesk Inventor, multiphysics simulation to validate behaviour before manufacturing, 3D-printed prototyping, then testing and iteration. I have for instance run a thermo-mechanical analysis of a cylinder head and sized electromagnetic actuators in FEMM 4.2.

On the software side, I develop in Python and C/C++, design PCBs in KiCad and work with ROS 2, MoveIt 2 and computer vision. My most advanced project remains the autonomous pick-and-place cell on an igus ReBeL cobot, built as a team in my first master's year. It required reverse engineering a proprietary protocol and produced an open-source library.

I don't hold the engineering degree yet, but I already work to the standards of the job. Every project is documented, measured and reviewed, including when the results fall short of the target. That is what you will find in my portfolio.

BALTEC Innovation

Construction and renovation company I founded in Strasbourg, from structural work to finishing across the Grand Est region.

Areas of expertise

Five areas I practise on real projects

Mechanical design

CAD with Autodesk Inventor, design of complex parts, structural optimisation with finite element analysis (FEA) and thermo-mechanical and electromagnetic multiphysics simulation (FEMM 4.2).

Advanced prototyping

Multi-material 3D printing, manufacturing of functional prototypes and rapid design iteration.

Programming and embedded systems

Development in Python and C/C++, microcontroller programming, PCB design with KiCad and FPGA integration.

Robotics and autonomy

ROS 2 solutions, motion planning with MoveIt 2, computer vision with YOLO and autonomous systems.

Methods, quality and continuous improvement

Lean methods and continuous improvement, 5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, TPM and OEE tracking, with structured problem-solving through DMAIC (Six Sigma) and Ishikawa diagrams.

Let's work together

Two good reasons to get in touch

Hiring?

I am entering my final master's year and looking for an end-of-studies internship, an apprenticeship or a first position in robotics and embedded systems. My projects and CV are online, drop me a line.

Have a project?

3D design, prototyping, automation, robotics or electronics, including unusual requirements. Tell me about yours, tight technical constraints are what I enjoy most.
